ABOUT US

The history of La Michoacana Twister – Our family always dreamed of having their own family business. We had not had the opportunity but after the pandemic two family members lost their jobs and that is where the motivation to fulfill our dream arose. 

We decided to contact a family friend from Los Reyes Michoacan (a Mexican town very famous because of their ice cream) to start this adventure.

He has been making ice cream and popsicles for more than 25 years and to bring these delicious flavors to Cary, he shared his original recipes with us. Now we are living our dream and with a lot of effort and dedication, we managed to open our first Michoacana Twister.

We have 15 ice cream flavors, 5 sorbet flavors and 37 popsicle flavors.  We also offer fresh fruit water, specialty drinks, combinations and Mexican snacks.  We have a large seating along with a game room and play room for children. Great for hosting parties and events.
